About the Author

A travel writer and researcher based in California, Ian Anderson spends several months on the road each year working on books for Moon Travel Guides and Rick Steves’ Europe, and every year he spends free time in the Low Countries. An intrigue with Dutch history, language, art, and canals that began 20 years ago in Amsterdam, has inspired repeat visits, as well as sojourns throughout Holland, particularly in the world’s loveliest small town, Delft.
