Katie McNey

About the Author

Katie McNey holds a PhD in English with a focus in medieval literature from the University of Minnesota. She was a faculty member at the University of Southern California until 2021 and has earned multiple awards for her writing and scholarship. This is her first fantasy book for adults. McNey is Ngāi Tahu Māori and a citizen of Aotearoa New Zealand. She currently lives in the mountains of Utah with her daughter and Siberian Husky. The three of them howl regularly at the moon.
