About the Author

Liz Micheels worked in social services for fifty years with youth and refugees and in women’s reproductive health. During those years, she followed her lifelong passion for flowers and gardening and started Artful Blooms. The company specialized in unique and creative botanical arrangements for special occasions and gardens. She has two sons and lives in Massachusetts with her husband, David, and her dog, Phoebe.
