Lydia Nichols is an image-maker/storyteller with a penchant for printmaking processes and anthropomorphic touches. As a kid, she declared her intent to become either a vet or a cartoonist. PAPERFACE (also know as Abi Langridge) is an award-winning illustrator currently living and working in Yorkshire, UK. She has worked on a wide range of commissions across the creative industry including editorial, branding, publishing, and animation. She received a degree in graphic design from Leeds University before going on to work in Leeds, London, and New York, later returning to the UK and settling in Yorkshire. Her time in the U.S. is a big source of inspiration, with the landscape, culture, people, food, and wildlife across the country feeding into her personal work.
